Huge Play Stations @ IMM

I thought I could only see these stuff in the games arcade, but you can find them @ IMM along the walk ways.

You may like to pamper your kids with these machines, but it might just burn a large hole in your pocket if you are not careful .... the kids are pretty "persuasive" these days ...

Father's Day 2009

Well, time flies ... though I did not have a BIG BREAKFAST in this year's Father's Day. But I realised that I had left a present from my son in the car ....

It's paint was peeling off badly, so I took this picture before it was gone for good.

No matter how little the gift may be, I will keep the picture in my mind and heart (and in this blog, as long as it exist - for free).

Thank You Renfred!

What is this? (specially for sons and daughters ... Please don't forget your parents' patience and love for you)

I felt a lot as I watched the last moment of repentance from the son.

This video reminds me of how much my dad had been patient with me and loved me. And it is time for me to be as loving (if not more) towards my dad who has to struggle with parkinsons, pain and immobility everyday.

What is that? (Τι είναι αυτό;) 2007 from MovieTeller on Vimeo.

Father and son are sitting on a bench. Suddenly a sparrow lands across them.

To ALL Hubbies, Try singing this song to your wife : 幸福誓言

Well, the song 幸福誓言 (The Oath of Happiness, Original singer: 庞龙) might be quite "cheena" (that's how my wife felt when I sang it aloud to her while my kids were giggling away, and she said, "I really can't stand this Cheena song!"), but I believe deep in her heart, she felt GREAT!!

I really love the last phrase:

"If YOUR LOVE for me is a GAMBLE,
I will NEVER let you LOSE!"

Hubbies! What are you waiting for??
Go sing it to your wife!!
Here's the music video to assist you:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfrTGkZpY6I

And here's the lyrics

Our Chihuahua: Belle Lee

Just brought our pup for her third vaccination (end June'09) and guess what, we've got a name card from the Vet with the pup's picture on it plus her name with my surname => Belle LEE
Wow! Having the dog is not just about having a pet, it's FAMILY.....

Here are some close-up pictures of my new family member:

One piece of advice: Don't leave your Chihuahua alone with the leash on, it might strangle itself.

And here is what I call it "CLOSE-UP & PERSONAL":

Kid's Art Showcase#4 - Cartoon #1

Whenever my kids felt sad or angry about something/someone, I had taught them to resort to writing or drawing to express themselves and take that time to cool down as well instead of throwing their fits around or being violent.
Well, here's one of the cartoons from one of them, expressing dislike of Chinese Spelling:

Great family fun in Singapore @ Botanic Gardens

We were wondering where we could go out for some family fun time during the June school holidays without worrying about the H1N1 pandemic in Singapore ... all the enclosed areas were definitely out of the list. Well, Botanic Gardens would be a good choice.

Simply find a nice cool spot under the tree (on a week day's morning), climbing trees, playing Frisbie, ball passing, taking memorable pictures and picnicking.

Heritage Tree (or branch) climbing

A "Spa" session for your canine?

One good piece of advice:
Don't ever have your picnic just below a tree with pigeons perching on it, you will start to regret when you find extra ingredients in your food/drinks (or you realised it when you tasted it! Uuurrrgggghhhh!!!).

Getting "OUT-OF-HAND" in Taking Temperature!!

Well, the schools and childcare centres had certainly done a great job to get our kids' temperature checked on a daily-basis, and even my 4 y.o. had learnt to do so.

But it had sort of got "Out-of-HAND"; caught her red-handed when she woke me from my afternoon nap as she was beeping away with the Braun thermometer!

Udders!! Yummy Yum Yum!!

Celebrated our wedding anniversary along Lorong Kilat (some where off Jalan Jurong Kechil in Bukit Timah). We (+ 3 kids) went to one of the Korean restaurants, Woori Nara (there was a Chicken symbol at her glass door). Lots of chicken stuff, but it wasn't as palatable as I thought it would be (sorry, I am not a gourmet, just didn't suit my family's taste).

Well, the kids didn't really eat much for dinner because they were dying to enter UDDERS (just a few shops away from Woori Nara).

In this Udders, you will get the opportunity to express your drawing and writing talents on their glass walls, but they were cleaning them up when we were there, so we just focused on the ICE CREAMS.

Customers will have a taste of the ice cream before you order it; ain't that great!
We tried the ChocMarsh, Hazel Nut Chocolate, Strawberry Fields ....

The Hazel Nut Chocolate is the BEST!!! As it has chunks of chocolate coated hazelnut paste waffles inside, which was really unique and it tasted GREAT!!! My kids loved the ChocMarsh. The freshness of the strawberry within the Strawberry Fields was amazing too (can't really described with words, you have to taste it for yourselves)!

Besides the ice-cream, we saw some interesting cartoons in the inner room. The wall had cartoon pictures of the cows poking fun on the "mammary glands". They were really funny but sort of "suggestive" .... the cow had really gone to gym to attain its six packs!

Just let me tell you how much my kid loved your ice-cream:
He's stuck to your stall!

Well, David, your ice-cream is wonderful and if you ever see this blog post, would you care to serve us your tasty ice-cream at discounted rate or 1-for-1?

The alternative name for PRUNE juice

I overheard a conversation between my mom and my kid in Madarin:

奶奶: "快来喝杯梅干汁,它能帮助你大便."
Granny: "Come and drink this cup of prune juice, it will help you to shit."

孙子: "哪.... 我的大便水在那里?"
Grandson: "So, where's my Shit Drink?"

奶奶: "????"
Granny: "????"
